Join the team and help us put some color back into Arkansas
There’s always room for artists here, so come be part of our mission to change Arkansas one home at a time.
We’re a small group Arkansans that have set out to get your town painted.
Why?
APP is a new Arkansas nonprofit devoted to local organizations/groups, businesses and the communities of our beautiful state.
We will work to boost tourism and help with free marketing and advertising for anyone that would like to participate, and when resources are available.
We’re here to promote a healthier Arkansas
through art programs of all kinds!
We would like to help create, organize, and even help fund these art projects through fundraisers and other fun and creative, community-based events.
Ideas welcome!
My name is Beau Gumm and I’m the founder of the Arkansas Paint Project, a new Arkansas 501(c)3, tax ID: 932-826-279.
I'm here to devote my free time to promote beauty and mental health in the Natural State, and due to injuries accrued during my 13-years in the Army, I get benefits enough for my family that I don’t have to work, so I have some free time to spare. I'm one of the very fortunate few.
Over the last few years, art and writing has helped calm the memories of my two trips to Iraq, and because of my new found perspective on art and mental health, and because I attribute it to saving my life, I would like to offer myself to Arkansas. I’m ready to get off the couch and get back out there to help wherever I can. I owe a great deal to the Natural State.
My beautiful wife, Sarah, and I plan to open a free art therapy center for children next year, the Oops-A-Daisies. Sarah is a licensed mental health/trauma therapist and would like to make her career about working with children in an art-producing environment focused on creating art to heal injuries of the mind, especially for those children that can’t find the help they truly deserve.
Because our mission is to work with tourism and marketing, the success of Arkansas is our success- your success is our success
Thank you again for your time and have a wonderful day,
Beau Gumm
